This doesn't even begin to touch on their utility when played in conjunction with "bounce" lands like Izzet Boilerworks that allow you to play your card as a land in the early game and transform it into a spell when you need it later

Theres a pity system in the pack points awarded with every unwrapping, allowing patient players or big spenders to get a rare card they desire or nab an elusive common card that you need for a deck
